WHAT IS REIKI?
Reiki is a Japanese energy-healing technique (developed by Mikao Usui in the 1920s) where practitioners lightly place hands on or just above a clothed body to direct "universal life force energy." Used to reduce stress, anxiety, and pain, it serves as a non-invasive, safe, complementary therapy. While not a cure, it aims to enhance relaxation and support the body's natural healing. Reiki is often used in conjunction with conventional medicine as a complementary, rather than alternative, treatment.

It is primarily used for stress reduction, relaxation, easing tension, and improved well-being.
